EXCHANGING GLORY We learn from Genesis 1 that we are created by our Creator-King as image-bearers for God’s glory. Let us not exchange our glory to worship anything else. Whether that be our identity, our body, coveting someone else’s body, desiring a relationship, or a habit that we prefer over God--and the list goes on and on. Instead of glorifying God the Creator they worshiped and served the creature, as we see in Romans 1. This is self-focused idolatry. This is when we start worshiping each other, and ourselves.
